Ambushed by the Enemy

The next time you see two Mormon missionaries coming toward you, don't cross to the other side of the street or ignore them. Try to approach them, greet them and share the Gospel. 

Three Mormons surrounded me yesterday unexpectedly in the parking lot of our apartment. I was surprised that I immediately begin speaking with them before they could get started with their false teaching.

 "It's so good to see you, because I have a wonderful truth for you. Not about the false Christ of the Latter Day Saints, but Jesus Christ of the Bible. The Bible is God's Word which cannot be added to, even by an angel. This is the Jesus who said that He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one, not even a good living Mormon, can go to heaven but through Him. Not by good living, but only by faith in Christ who paid the penalty for your sin and mine."

Each time they tried to interrupt, I held up my hand motioning them to be quiet as I was talking and continued to share the Gospel. (Mormons are taught to respect the elderly.)

One took out his book of Mormon to read from, and I simply politely told him to put it up, as it was not God's word!

When I shared with them many other verses from the Bible, two listened very intently, but the other showed anger and had fire in his eyes.

As I finished, I said, "Goodbye, I will pray for you. Remember God's word which I shared with you" and walked away.

I'm not an evangelist, but am to be a witness of the Gospel, which is the power of God to salvation! So, when we are surrounded by a lost world, let's give them the Good News!
