Suffering to Learn

Recently I read of a little orphan boy in Kenya who could not afford the school fees. He would, however, slip into school rooms to learn.  When he was caught, which was often, he was beaten with a cane.  He had many cuts and bruises on his face and body, but he continued to slip into the school in order to learn. 

Let's pray for the millions of children worldwide who go through pain and suffering with a passion to learn! Pray for many Christian teachers in public schools to make a difference and for the establishment of Christian schools who will show the true love of Christ in their teaching and compassionate care of children!
