Diaspora, “a people scattered.”

I participated as a member of the International Board of Advisors at the Global Diaspora Network meeting in Toronto, Canada, July 2 to 4. We desire to encourage ministries to diaspora worldwide.  For example, there are over one million Filipinos in Saudi Arabia; 50,000 of these are evangelicals encouraged to reach out with the gospel in the countries where they work! (One man said to me, “Isn’t wonderful working in a ministry where the hero is a maid, care giver, nanny, and common workers, people that no one would take thought but who are serving in very significant places with the gospel and the glory of God!) While in Toronto I spoke twice at well known, large Peoples Church with an attendance of people from 70 different nations of the world!
