Do Numbers and Statistics Mean Anything?

It is estimated that one children’s worker can only have an effective evangelism and discipleship ministry with 50 to 100 children.  If one missionary had a ministry to one thousand children, there would be, therefore, a need of 100,000 missionaries to work with the 100 million street children in the world.

So, is the day of sending missionaries over?  Not with 100 million street children needing the gospel and compassionate!
